Wireless Access (Mac)
Unlike previous years, there is no sign-up requirement to use the Wireless network for fall 2006 (assuming you have a valid NetID and password). The process is as follows for a Macintosh computer:
Step 1:
Make sure your wireless airport card is turned on and connecting to WC-Wireless.
Step 2:
Open Safari (or any other web browser) and you will be redirected to a wireless log in page. Sign in by using your college user ID and password (the same user name and password you use for WebMail).
If not properly redirected, attempting to visit any other web page will redirect you to a log in screen.
Step 3:
After logging in, an authentication website will redirect you to the particular page you are trying to visit.
A logout window (you may have to allow popups for this site) will appear.
Leave this logout window up so you can logout at the end of your session.
