Washington College Technology Exam
How Do I Take The Exam?
To take the exam, follow the instructions below.
Instructions
1. Read the How Do I Install the Testing Software Information section and
view the Installing the Testing Software movie. This information is located in
the
Technology Proficiency Exam Tutorial located on the Washington College
web site
or in the Technology
Exam folder found on the Free Help for
Your
Computer CD. Use these instructions
to configure your Apple or Windows
computer to work with the technology
exam.
2. Go to your Washington College e-mail
account and log in with your username and
password. Look for the e-ticket in your INBOX.
Open the e-ticket and double click the link located
at the bottom of the eticket to open the log in page.
3. Type your first name, last name, and student ID
number into the log in boxes and click the “Complete
Registration” button to start the software installation.
4. After software installation, you will be given the
opportunity to either run the technology exam tutorial,
or to begin the technology exam. Choose whichever you prefer.
5. If in the step above you chose to run the
tutorial, after completing the tutorial,
select the button to begin the technology
exam.

The technology exam is composed of two
tests – the computer and internet user
test, and the Microsoft Office 2003 user test.
When you have completed the first test the
second test will automatically begin.
6. At the end of each test, your scores will be
displayed. Print out your score sheet at the
end of each test. When you have
completed both tests, log out of the testing
interface to close the technology exam.

technology areas, read the Washington
College Technology Exam Training Plan
found in the Technology Exam folder on
your CD. |
