What We Do

If you need technology help, you can count on the HelpDesk & Tech Services.

HelpDesk

The HelpDesk can troubleshoot and repair software related computer problems, refer hardware repairs to a certified technician for resolution and assist you with protecting your computer against spyware, adware and viruses. The HelpDesk can also assist you in scheduling Audio/Visual services for your class or event.

Tech Services

Tech Services provides a wide variety of technology support to the campus community. Our staff includes technicians qualified to repair almost any computer and certified to provide warranty service on IBM and Apple computers. Our education, experience, and certifications enable us to provide quality support.

Computer Repair

We know that your computer is crucial to your work here at Washington College. When it does not work properly, life grinds to a halt. That's why the Help and Support staff works hard to get your computer back up and running quickly.

The Technicians and the HelpDesk staff collaborate to provide the campus community with full support for software and hardware repairs. Software repairs are diagnosed and resolved by the HelpDesk. However if your computer's hardware fails, our certified technicians are available to diagnose the problem and begin the repair work.

Schedule Service

To discuss your repair options, schedule service, and get a repair estimate, contact the HelpDesk at 410-778-7777.

Note: computers owned by Washington College will receive priority repair service and are repaired free of charge.

Certifications

Because our technicians are certified to repair Apple and Lenovo computers, you can have warranty service completed right here, saving you time.

Of course, we can repair non-Apple and non-Lenovo systems and help you ship these machines in for service.

  • So much more...

Thinking of purchasing audio/visual equipment? Make sure you have reviewed the Technology Purchasing Policy.
